Saturday, May 8th, 2010 10:00am Community Picnic Radhanatha's Ranch in Terrell EVERYONE is invited!!! There will be a picnic at Radhanatha's ranch on Saturday, May 8th. Prasadam will be potluck. Call Dharma on his cell at 214-402-8452 or Nrtya Kisori Dasi 214-886-4763 to coordinate the prasadam. Directions to the ranch are as follows: take Hwy 80 East all the way to Terrell * go through the city of Terrell * at the edge of town, you will see an Exxon station on the left * the road there is 429 North * take a left on 429 North * go EXACTLY 7 miles to Cedar Grove Rd * you can only go right there, take a right go down 1/2 mile * there will be an open beige security gate * the house number is 7561, and there is a beige barn directly behind the house. Thanks to everyone who attended the last picnic on the 4th of July. Thanks to all those who cooked or brought something.
1. The picnics are "Pot Luck". Everyone is encouraged to cook and bring something in a large quantity sufficient to feed others in addition to the numbers they bring. Some devotees will cook more to cover those who can't cook. So even if you cannot cook, please still come. If you'd like to buy something to bring we will need chips for snacking or you can bring fresh fruits. 2. Prasadam will be served whenever the devotees want it. Please bring some munchie snack things for eating before all the prasadam arrives for the main serve-out. 3. Generally, drinks are up to each person to bring for themselves. A nectar drink needs to be made for everyone if someone will volunteer to make it. Please call if you'd like to do this. Otherwise there will be water provided. 4. The doors to Radhanatha Prabhu's house MUST remain CLOSED at all times, to keep out mosquitoes and flies. Please be sure to completely close the door each time you leave or enter. Please do not enter the house when wet or dirty.
5. Children will not be allowed to swim without PARENTS or a specified ADULT guardian with them. Parents must watch their kids in the pool AT ALL TIMES. No one else is responsible for your children. Everyone attending these picnics agrees to hold harmless Radhanth Prabhu and his wife Debra from any injury or harm they sustain while visiting their property.
Please make a sincere effort to follow these rules. We are fortunate that Radhanath Prabhu and Debra invite us and are so generous to the devotees. Please make it a point to thank them.
