| | | | | | Saturday May 7th: Community Meeting There will be a community meeting to discuss Strategic Planning for the 40th Anniversary of the Installation of Sri Sri Radha Kalachandji, which will take place on Radhastami 2012. It will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 9:30 a.m. in the Community Hall. A pancake breakfast will be served that morning before the meeting. Everyone is invited. |
| Sunday, May 8th: Sri Isopanishad Course Begins  On Sunday, May 8th, at 1:30 p.m. an indepth study of the Sri Isopanishad will begin. The class will be conducted by Nityananda Prabhu in the upstairs hall. This class will last for approximately 18 weeks. Everyone is invited to participate. [Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarawati, letter, July 28, 1935 ] Today I was remembering my godbrother, Tamal Krsna Goswami. We should nerver forget the pioneers of this great ISKCON movement who helped Srila Prabhupada establish Krsna consciousness in the western world in the beginning. Those were special times, and they were special souls. I often struggle to understand why Krishna took TKG away so early. Then just this morning I read the above passage, which gave me great solace. From here HH Indradyumna Swami is coming to Dallas from May 28th to 31st. (Memorial Day weekend) There will be Initiations, Vyasa puja,Maha Kirtans, and Temple programs. |
